Jennifer Hernanez - Front Desk Receptionist

Jennifer Hernadez is the first face you will see at our clinic!  She is our Front desk Receptionist and Treatment Coordinator.  Jennifer was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas.  She graduated from Sidney Lanier HS in 2016.  In her free time, Ms. Hernandez likes to crochet, bake, take care of plants and learn new languages.  Before working at Shaenfield Family Dental she worked as a clerk at an elementary school where she fell in love with children.  Jennifer likes to build trust with both parents and children while making sure they feel confident getting their work done.  When asked about her experience at Shaenfield Family Dental, she said: “I like working at SFD because I like making people show off their beautiful smiles!  Whatever small part I play in making someone’s dental experience a good one, I am happy to be a part of it.  Dr. Hasheem has created such a comfortable environment here at the clinic, I always look forward to working with her and her amazing team!

Andrea Guerra - Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) & Insurance Coordinator

Andrea Guerra is a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and insurance coordinator.  She is originally from San Antonio and loves the tranquility of the city.  Ms. Guerra graduated from San Antonio Dental Assistant School- Northwest in 2022.  In her free time, she prefers to spend it with her family and learn new hobbies.  Andrea has a heart for people.  Dental Assisting has been a way for her to bring comfort and care to all our patients, especially the nervous ones who had traumatic dental experiences in the past.  When asked about her experience at Shaenfield Family dental, she said, “I enjoy working at SFD because I can apply my assisting skills while learning more about the dental field with every case, big or small.     It’s because of this clinic’s friendly staff and caring doctor that SFD feels like a second family.  Dr. Hasheem sincerely cares about her patients, and it shows with every appointment.  I believe she is changing the dental experience one patient at a time, and I am proud to be part of it.

Cindy Martinez - Registered Dental Assistant and lead RDA

Cindy Martinez is a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). She went to dental assisting at CHCP after high school graduation in 2016. She moved to San Antonio in 2006 from California and considers San Antonio her home now. Cindy has a nurse’s heart and loves caring for patients. She has training and experience with front desk duties as well. She prefers to help patients as an assistant because she enjoys helping with complicated procedures as she loves challenges. In her free time, Ms. Martinez enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her lovely kids. She joined Shaenfield Family Dental because she says, “This was my dream job. I always wanted to work here and when I got the job, I was super excited. I really like working alongside with Dr. Hasheem and the positive energy of the office. It gives me great joy to make patients feel comfortable, especially the ones that had bad dental experiences in the past. I want to change their perception with a great one.
