At Shaenfield Family Dentistry, we are led by Dr. Uzma Hasheem, an experienced and compassionate dentist dedicated to her patients. As a student, she was naturally drawn to the sciences and art. Her parents urged her to go into a career that helped people, and during a career fair, she learned more about how dentistry can combine that with her love of art and science. From there, she never looked back – Dr. Hasheem loves working one-on-one with people and helping improve both their health and their confidence. She says that it was the best decision she ever made!
Dr. Hasheem received her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2010. Additionally, this is where Dr. Hasheem did her implant fellowship as well. She believes in helping the less fortunate and loves to give back to our community, such as her work volunteering at Brighterway Dental clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, where she placed implants for the homeless, veterans, and working poor.

We had our first visit at Shaenfield Family Dental for my three kids’ cleanings. They made all of the kids feel comfortable and were very down to Earth. They did very 4 year old friendly x-rays and praised all the kids for being helpful and cooperative.
