Our staff is not only concerned about the health of our patient’s teeth and gums but their overall health as well. Our clinic has taken extra measures since the rise of COVID-19. Below is a list of some of the changes you will experience upon your arrival for your next appointment.

Standard Precautions to prevent spread of infectious diseases

• Using medical grade 3M room air purifier with HEPA-type Filters in every operatory to reduce aerosols.
• Wearing disposable gloves, lab coat and surgical mask while working on patients.
• Remaining compliant will all ADA and CDC guidelines for disinfecting patient areas and sterilizing instruments.
• Disinfecting all door handles, chairs, and restrooms regularly.
• Changing protective barriers after each patient.
• Using high grade disinfectant on every surface to kill viruses and bacteria.
• Appropriately discarding any single use materials/instruments
• Disposing gloves before leaving the patient rooms

Extra Precautions due to Covid-19

• Incorporating virtual Patient forms
• Offering option for virtual payments
• Using medical grade 3M room air purifier with HEPA-type Filters in every operatory to reduce aerosols.
• Requiring all patients to wear face mask during check-in, check-out and while waiting in the lobby.
• Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when working on patients.
• Allowing limited time slots to follow social distancing guidelines
• Requiring only patients to be seating in the operating room.
  • Children under 6 may have 1 parent in the room
• Minimizing wait room time to maintain social distancing
• Requiring a COVID-19 Screening form to be filled prior to appointments
• Checking temperatures at check-in.
• Providing hand sanitizers to be used upon entry and exit.
• Implementing staff to use KN95 masks with face shield while working on patients directly.
